Crater Count Areas of Nearside Mare Basalt Age-dating by Hiesinger et al. (2000-2011)

Polygons representing the crater count areas used to estimate ages of mare basalt units by Hiesinger et. al (2000, 2002, 2003, 2010). Each polygon includes the crater size-frequency distributions model age. See Hiesinger et al. (2011) for details of the methodology and the summary of age dating efforts. For the regions of mare age units, refer to the Hiesinger2011_Mare_Age_Units shapefile.
